Punjab's Gurdaspur police arrest two in Class 12 English paper leak case
Gurdaspur, March 9: The Gurdaspur police on Thursday arrested two suspects in the Class 12th English paper leak case. They have been identified as Veer Singh and Gagan.
On the complaint of the District Education Officer, a a case in this regard was registered under various sections at the Gurdaspur city police station on February 24.
During the investigation of the case, the names of Veer Singh and Gagan cropped up.
Notably, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) cancelled the Class 12 English examination following reports that the question paper had been leaked minutes before the examination.
In a press release, Controller of Examination, PSEB, Janak Raj Mehrok said English exam was to be conducted from 2pm to 5.15pm, but had been cancelled due to administrative reasons.
