Qaumi Insaaf Morcha protest: High Court on Wednesday issued a stern message to the Quami Insaaf Morcha's ongoing dharna at Mohali's YPS Chowk, asking that a solution be found before the next hearing on August 17 to avoid further court intervention.
The court voiced concerns over the road blockade caused by the protest, leading to hardships for the common people.
The High Court advised the Qaumi Insaf Morcha not to block roads for protest. The court highlighted the need for peaceful demonstrations at designated locations in order to maintain public order and convenience.
As the protest continues, a main road blockage remains a serious issue affecting people's daily life.
The High Court stressed the legality of addressing their demands through appropriate means, saying, "If you have any demand, it can be followed up legally. However, blocking the road is not acceptable."
