Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal's R.D Sharma contested the Punjab elections 2022 from Ludhiana North. He is a former BJP leader who joined Shiromani Akali Dal in August 2021. However, he lost as he bagged only 11,454 votes.
