Railways department to run special trains ahead of festivals

Railways department to run special trains ahead of festivals The railway has decided to run many special trains in wake of festivals of Diwali and Chhath Pooja. The railway officials told the media sources that Anand Vihar Terminus (AVT) New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will run biweekly from November 10. This train would leave AVT every Monday and Thursday at 11 pm. It will reach Katra at 2 pm, the next day. Also Read: President Ram Nath Kovind arrives on two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir For the return trip, the train would be leaving Katra every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:30 pm. The Delhi Jn-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi Jn will run three times a week. The special express train will run till November 22.  The train would be leaving Delhi every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday at 6:25 pm. It would arrive at 9: 05 am the next day at Katra. The train would leave Katra every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Jabalpur-Attari will run two times a week and would ply till December 30. The Saharsa-Amritsar-Saharsa will also run two times a week. It will run between 5 to 11 November. The train would be leaving Saharsa every Monday and Friday at 10:35 pm. It would be reaching Amritsar at 11 am the third day. The train would leave Amritsar every Sunday and Thursday at 9:15 am. It would leave Katihar every Thursday at 9 am and would reach Jalandhar city at 6:30 pm the next day. -PTC NEWS
