Renowned Sikh historian, Dr Kirpal Singh passes away at 95

Renowned Sikh historian, Dr Kirpal Singh passes away at 95 Renowned Sikh historian Dr Kirpal Singh passed away at the age of 95 on Tuesday morning. He breathed his last at his home in Chandigarh. The cremation will take place at Chandigarh cremation ground at 4:00 PM. His wife, Joginder Kaur, died at the age of 93 after a brief illness on September 1, 2018. He was the Chairman of the Sikh History Resource Editing Project Giani Gurbachan Singh, former Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib had bestowed the title of National Professor of Sikhism on Dr Kirpal Singh. He was a Sikh historian and author of several books.
