Mumbai, June 26: Indian batsman Rohit Sharma tested positive for Covid-19 after a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on Saturday. Rohit, who was playing in India's four-day warm-up game against Leicestershire, has been quarantined. "#TeamIndia Captain Rohit Sharma has tested positive for COVID-19 following a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on Saturday. He is currently in isolation at the team hotel and is under the care of the BCCI Medical Team," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Twitter. Rohit Sharma clears fitness Test, to lead India in series against West  Indies Rohit is set to captain the squad against England in the rescheduled fifth Test match, which will begin on July 1 at Edgbaston. India now leads the series 2-1. The rescheduled match is part of a five-match Test series that was postponed after the fourth Test owing to a Covid-19 outbreak in the Indian camp last year. Sharma had made his ODI debut for the national side on this day in 2007 against Ireland in Belfast.
