Russia-Ukraine war: The Russian military said that the first day of the Ukraine invasion was "successful". Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had said that the country had no option but to order what he called a special military operation against Ukraine. Vladimir Putin said that Russia's previous attempts to change the security situation were of no use. On the other hand, the Ukraine Presidency said that Russian forces have captured Chernobyl.
