SAD-BSP manifesto best example of commitment to people: Parkash Singh Badal
Chandigarh, February 15: Five-time Punjab Chief Minister and senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sardar Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday described the SAD -BSP manifesto for upcoming elections in the state as “the finest example of commitment to the people."
He further said that it symbolises a combination of complete bond with the past heritage and the present realities, as well as and pragmatic a daring vision of the future.
Lauding the manifesto as 'the greatest vision statement he has ever read in life', Prakash Badal said that it spells out a detailed road map for taking Punjab into a future full of prosperity.
Notably, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Tuesday released a joint manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Punjab.

The main agenda will be to enhance the Government schools and hospitals.
In the SAD-BSP manifesto, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have taken up the key demands concerning Punjab and Punjabis including the transfer of Chandigarh and other Punjabi areas to Punjab, river water issues, 1984 massacre perpetrators would be given exemplary punishment, restoring the pride of Punjabi as a second language in Haryana, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh etc.

The SAD-BSP manifesto states that the SAD-BSP alliance, if voted to power, would ensure 5 lakh pucca houses and 5 marla plots free of cost for homeless and kutcha householders, besides solar power resolution to ensure zero power bill.
"Our government will root out corruption and malpractices with a brave new approach through digital governance, removing the very need for bribery or corruption," said the SAD and BSP leaders in a joint statement.
