OpenAI-Sam Altman drama: Massive twist in OpenAI-Sam Altman drama as OpenAI agreed to bring back entrepreneur-investor Sam Altman as CEO with a new board and members within five days after he has been fired by the company. 

Taking to their official Twitter handle, OpenAI wrote, “We have reached an agreement in principle for Sam Altman to return to OpenAI as CEO with a new initial board of Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo. We are collaborating to figure out the details. Thank you so much for your patience through this.”

Confirming his entry back in OpenAI, a tech industry star Sam Altman says, “i love openai, and everything i’ve done over the past few days has been in service of keeping this team and its mission together. when i decided to join msft on sun evening, it was clear that was the best path for me and the team. with the new board and w satya’s support, i’m looking forward to returning to openai, and building on our strong partnership with msft.”

Earlier, on Tuesday, Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella, announced Sam Altman's transition to head an advanced AI research team at Microsoft, marking his departure from OpenAI. This move follows the appointment of Emmett Shear, the former head of Twitch, as the interim CEO of OpenAI.

In a dramatic turn of events on November 17, OpenAI sacked CEO Sam Altman as it no longer trusted Sam to run the Microsoft-backed Corporation.

6. Sam Altman became one of the most prominent figures, a tech industry star, who can turn out human-level material like poems or artwork in seconds with the debut of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot.
