SGPC to stage protest for release of 'Bandi Singhs' on Sept 12

Patiala, September 9: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is scheduled to hold a protest at the district headquarters on Monday, September 12 for the release of the Bandi Singhs.

The decision was taken in the meeting of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).

Meanwhile, SGPC member Karnail Singh Panjoli on Friday held a special meeting with all the members of the Committee and religious leaders.

Karnail Singh Panjoli further urged all Sikh organizations and Sikhs to join the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee campaign for the release of the captive Singhs.

In the earlier meeting, it was unanimously approved that protests will be staged outside the offices of the Deputy Commissioners and UT administrators in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, during which the members would wear black clothes on September 12.
