PTC News Desk: India comfortably chased down Pakistan’s target of 171, finishing at 174 for 4 in just 18.5 overs. The victory was set up by a blistering start and solid partnerships, capped off by explosive knocks from Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya.

In pursuit of 172, Abhishek played a match-winning innings of 74 off 39 balls, smashing six boundaries and five sixes, effectively sealing the contest early. Shubman Gill also contributed with a quickfire 47 off 28 deliveries, ensuring India’s strong batting line-up had little trouble completing the formalities.

Abhishek Sharma’s brilliant knock set the tone for India’s chase, giving the team a blazing start while keeping the run rate in control. His innings played a pivotal role in securing India’s commanding win over Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan anchored the innings with a 58-run knock, helping his side post 171/5 in 20 overs. For India, Shivam Dube claimed two key wickets. Pakistan benefited from several let-offs, with Abhishek Sharma spilling two catches, Kuldeep Yadav missing one, and Shubman Gill dropping another towards the end.

“Today was pretty simple, I didn't like how they were coming at us with no reason at all. That's why I could give what I did with the bat. [Shubman and I] have been playing since schooldays, so we enjoyed our company. We thought today would be the day. I enjoyed how he was also giving it back,” said Abhishek Sharma.
