IPL 2024: MS Dhoni, the legendary Indian and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) wicketkeeper-batter, scripted history by becoming the first Indian glovesman to surpass 7,000 runs in T20 cricket.

The 42-year-old veteran achieved this milestone during a match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Dhoni showcased his brilliance with the bat, smashing 37 runs off just 16 balls, including four boundaries and three sixes, at a staggering strike rate of 231.25. CSK fans rejoiced seeing their beloved 'Thala' in action, particularly as he punished pacer Anrich Nortje by scoring 20 runs off the last over.
