IPL 2025 RCB victory parade today: Bengaluru to celebrate historic IPL win with grand procession
IPL 2025 RCB victory parade: The city of Bengaluru is set to witness a historic celebration today as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) return home after securing their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) championship. Following their momentous victory over Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the franchise has organised a grand victory parade in the heart of the city, promising a spectacle for fans who have waited nearly two decades for this triumph.
Where will RCB victory parade take place?
The celebratory procession will commence from the iconic Vidhana Soudha and will conclude at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium by 3.0 PM. RCB players, accompanied by coaching staff and management, will showcase the coveted IPL trophy atop an open bus, with thousands of fans expected to line the streets of the Central Business District. Spectators in RCB’s signature red and black attire are anticipated to create a carnival-like atmosphere with flags, banners, and chants echoing through the city.
To manage the large crowds, city officials have announced specific traffic curbs along the parade route and have deployed a substantial police force and emergency services to ensure public safety.
Virat Kohli’s emotional message to fans
In his post-match remarks after the final on Sunday night, RCB icon Virat Kohli expressed immense joy and gratitude. “This moment belongs to every single RCB fan who stood by us for 18 long years,” said Kohli, who played a key role in the team’s journey to the title.
Adding to the emotional homecoming, Kohli publicly invited former RCB legends Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers to join the festivities in Bengaluru. “AB and Chris are part of this legacy, and their presence will make this celebration truly complete,” he stated.
