WPL 2024 auction unveils complete rundown of players: From sold stars to unsold prospects

WPL 2024 Auction: The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction witnessed notable highlights in player trades. Kashvee Gautam emerged as the priciest uncapped player, clinching a groundbreaking bid of INR 2 crore from Gujarat Giants. Australia's Phoebe Litchfield kicked off the bidding and landed with the Giants for INR 1 crore. Another Australian, Annabel Sutherland, shared the title for the highest bid, securing INR 2 crore and joining the Delhi Capitals.

However, the auction held surprises, with Sri Lanka's renowned skipper Chamari Athapaththu and West Indies' Deandra Dottin remaining unsold. Indian uncapped player Vrinda Dinesh marked her presence by breaking the Rs 1 crore barrier, fetching an impressive bid of INR 1.3 crore from the UP Warriorz.
