Stubble Burning: 6 FIR registered against Farmers in Sangrur
With the growth in stubble burning taking place in the villages of Punjab and Haryana, the administration has started fillin FIR against the farmers. The pollution from stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana timed with Diwali and the onset of winter, takes Delhi's air quality to increased levels of toxicity. The court might have put a ban on Crackers however, Stubble burning seems to have worsen the case. First FIR has already been registered on 6 farmers of Bakhora Kalan village of Sangrur District. -PTC News
