Sukesh Chandrasekhar Case: Delhi Court extends Jacqueline's interim bail till November 10

New Delhi, October 22: A Delhi Court on Saturday extended the interim bail of Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar and others. During the regular bail hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik observed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a reply to Jacqueline's bail plea. However, the case was postponed until November 10th, and Jacqueline's interim bail was extended. The Court further ordered ED to make the charge sheet and other relevant documents available to all parties. On Saturday, actor Jacqueline Fernandez also physically attended the court proceedings. Jacqueline was granted interim bail in the case on September 26. On the previous date, the Additional Sessions Judge gave notice to the ED on Jacqueline's regular bail petition and granted her interim bail on a Rs 50,000 bail bond. On August 17, 2022, the Enforcement Directorate filed a supplementary charge sheet in a Delhi Court in the Rs 200 crore extortion case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekar, naming Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused. The ED has also called Jacqueline Fernandez multiple times in this regard for the purpose of investigation. Jacquline's lawyer, Prashant Patil, said that she has always cooperated with the investigation agencies and has attended all summonses to date. "She has handed over all the information to the best of her ability to the ED." According to an earlier Chargesheet filed by the ED, Bollywood actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi examined and stated that they received top models of BMW cars, the most expensive presents from the accused Sukesh.
