Sukhbir Badal constitutes three-member team to re-organise party set up
Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today constituted three member committees zone wise for early and smooth reorganization of party set up. Each committee will be headed by a senior party leader. In a statement released from the party head office, it was disclosed that committee headed by former Minister Mr. Tota Singh will have senior leader Sarup Chand Singla and MLA Gurpartap Singh Wadal as members. This team will take up responsibility for District Ludhiana rural, urban and Kapurthala. Similarly former minister Mr. Ajit Singh Kohar team will have Pawan Kumar Tinu and Ranjit Singh Kahlon as members and this team will work for district Amritsar, Tarntaran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot. Team headed by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema will have former Chairman Santa Singh Umaidpuri and senior party leader Parmjit Singh Sidhwan as members. This team will take up responsibility in Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and submit its report on reorganizing party set up. Team headed by former minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon will have senior party leader Sant Balbir Singh Ghunas and Iqbal Singh Jhunda as members. It will take up responsibility for Ropar, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib and Moga districts. Team of former minister Gulzar Singh Ranike will have Mantar Singh Brar and Parkash Chand Singla as members and they will look after district Bathinda and Sri Mukartsar Sahib. Team under former minister Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka will have Tirath Singh Wahla and Jiwan Dhawan as members and it will share responsibility for district Sangrur and Barnala. Team of Former finance Minister and five time MLA Parminder Singh Dhindsa will have Gobind Singh Longowal and party treasurer and MLA NK Sharma as members and it will take responsibility in Patiala and Mansa districts. Team of Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha will have Veer Singh Lopoke and Harmeet Singh Sandhu as members and it will look after Ferozepur, Faridkot and Fazilka districts. These teams will take up meetings in their respective districts and sent their report within a month to party President.
