Syringes, drugs found at Punjabi University during 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan'
Patiala: During the sports competition being conducted in Punjabi University under the 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan' launched by the Punjab government, syringes have been recovered from the toilets on the same premises. Empty vials and used syringes were found in the bathroom during the ongoing sports competitions in Punjabi University.

According to the information, various sports competitions are being conducted in the sports ground of Punjabi University under the banner of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan'by the Punjab Government, which is also being monitored by the Sports Department of Punjabi University. Empty injections, syringes and drug pill were also found lying boys restroom.
On the other hand, the Sports Department and Punjabi University remains silent on it. According to sports experts, a dope test must be conducted ahead of any event. Notably ,dope test is mandatory in vigorous sports such as power lifting, wrestling and kabaddi.
