T20 World Cup 2021: BCCI unveils Team India's new jersey

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday unveiled a new jersey for the Indian cricket team ahead of T20 World Cup 2021.

Taking to Twitter, BCCI tweeted: "Presenting the Billion Cheers Jersey! The patterns on the jersey are inspired by the billion cheers of the fans."

BCCI has already named a 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021, which is scheduled to be held later in October.

Meanwhile, former India Captain MS Dhoni is going to mentor the team for the T20 World Cup that too without any cost.

India names 15-man squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2021

Ishan Kishan has been selected in the 15-man squad while Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel’s inclusion has been a surprise. Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar have been reserved as standby players.

India will kick off its World Cup campaign against arch-rival Pakistan on October 24. Prior to Super 12s, India will play two warm-up matches against England and Australia on October 18 and October 20, respectively.

Virat Kohli (Capt), Rohit Sharma (vc), KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohd Shami.
