All the 12 boys and the coach of the Wild Boars soccer team are rescued safely from the Thailand cave. The last boy emerged into the daylight around 6 PM (local time). They all have been admitted to the hospital of Chiang Rai city. Behind the coach were a doctor and 4 Navy SEALs which are yet to emerge on the surface. On Tuesday morning, a team of 19 divers rescue the last team members out. Four boys were rescued on Monday and another four on Sunday. The impossible mission was ended extraordinarily. To rescue a group of children trapped inside 4 kms underground, diving lessons were given to dive their way out of the flooded cave and tunnels. Meanwhile, there was a continuous threat of rain was always there. The young coach named Aek was keeping the boys on a strict training schedule to keep them fit and to bond with the teammates. On June 23, the group set off on a 45-minute bike ride from their school, close to the border town of Mai Sai, to the cave. It wasn’t until 7pm that night, when the team failed to return, the Wild Boars’ 37-year-old head coach, Nopparat Kathawong, realised the situation and informed the police after which the rescue operation started. -PTC News
