At least three people, including a mother and her son died and one person was injured when their car rammed into a tractor trolley near Badargarh village, Sangrur district near Hisar on Chandigarh road on Thursday morning.

The injured person was rushed to Rajindra hospital. His condition is stated to be critical. Sources said Ravinder Singh, a resident of Mandoli Gujjar, a village near Ghanaur town in Patiala district, left home for Fatehabad in Haryana to get medicine for his mother, Silandro Devi. The incident took place at around 4:30am, when the car collided with the tractor trolley, resulting in the instant death of Ravinder Singh (26), his mother Silandro Devi (50) and the driver Gurvinder Singh (25).

The injured person, identified as Ram Asra, was rushed to Pathan Government Hospital, from where doctors referred him to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala.
