Japanese man invests Rs 12 lakh in dog transformation, 'fails agility test'

PTC Web Desk: A Japanese man who spent a substantial amount, around $14,000 (approximately Rs 12 lakh), on a custom-made collie costume to transform himself into a dog has been gaining attention on social media. Identified by his YouTube channel as 'Toco' from 'I Want To Be An Animal', he has shared a series of Instagram images attempting a Crufts-style agility course in his dog attire.

In the posted photos, Toco, disguised as a Collie, is seen trying to navigate through hurdles in a garden. However, the attempts didn't go smoothly as he encountered difficulties, failing to jump over the hurdles and even bumping into the poles. His caption humorously expressed, "When you become a dog, you want to try agility, don't you?"

Reactions to his unconventional endeavors were diverse among Instagram users. While some applauded his effort, others criticised his actions. Comments ranged from supportive sentiments such as "He tried his best, that's what matters" to more critical remarks like "Get therapy" and assertions that he's an "old man with a big mental problem."

Interestingly, one user speculated that Toco might identify as a "Therian," defined as someone identifying as a non-human earthly animal, either spiritually or psychologically, in the Urban Dictionary.

Toco, known for his unique content where he indulges in dog-like activities, continues to evoke mixed reactions from online audiences, sparking discussions about his unconventional lifestyle choices.
