In his tribute, PM Modi stated, "Remembering Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary. His sacrifice and unwavering dedication to the cause of India's freedom continue to inspire generations. Bhagat Singh, a fearless patriot, met his tragic end at the hands of the British in 1931 when he was just 23 years old. Despite his youth, his remarkable courage, unwavering commitment to the cause, and his lofty ideals have made him an enduring and beloved figure in India's struggle for independence.
