Netra Mantena wedding: Donald Trump Jr grooves to Bollywood beats at lavish Udaipur wedding sangeet with Ranveer Singh
PTC Web Desk: US President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., stole the spotlight at a high-profile wedding celebration in Udaipur after he and his girlfriend Bettina Anderson hit the dance floor to a Bollywood song. The couple attended the grand sangeet ceremony of Netra Mantena, daughter of US billionaire entrepreneurs Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena, and groom Vamsi Gadiraju, tech founder and CTO of Superorder.
The three-day extravagant celebrations began on Friday, November 21, in the picturesque city of lakes, known for hosting some of India’s most luxurious destination weddings.
Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the glamorous sangeet night featured electrifying performances by top Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan. But one viral moment outdid them all, when Ranveer Singh invited Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson to dance to his popular track “What Jhumka?” from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
A viral video circulating on social media shows Trump Jr. and Bettina swaying to the music before joining Ranveer on stage, where the actor enthusiastically encouraged them to match Bollywood steps, much to the delight of the cheering audience.
Bettina turned heads in a shimmering gold lehenga-choli, while Ranveer Singh kept it sharp and stylish in a black suit. The actor later amped up the energy further by performing to “Aankh Maare” from Simmba and belting out lines from his iconic Gully Boy track “Apna Time Aayega.”
The wedding festivities, spread across iconic Udaipur venues, including The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal, and Jagmandir Island Palace, are hosting nearly 600 guests. In addition to Bollywood A-listers, international pop icons Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber are also expected to perform.
The bride, Netra Mantena, comes from a prominent Orlando-based business family, while groom Vamsi Gadiraju, a Columbia University alumnus, was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 (2024) as a rising tech leader. His company, Superorder, helps multi-location restaurants optimise delivery and takeout operations.
The celebrations will conclude with a lavish grand reception on November 23.
