Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa is an Indian political leader and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was born on February 23, 1943. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa is a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and the current MLA of Fatehgarh Churian. He was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha four times, i.e., in 1992, 2002, 2012, and now in 2017, and won the assembly elections by 1999 votes. He remained Deputy and State Minister of School Education, Printing and Stationery, and Agriculture; Minister of State for Forest, Transport, Social Security, and Women and Child Development; Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board; General Secretary, DCC; Member PPCC; President Municipal Committee and Chairman Market Committee Qadian; Director, Land Mortgage Bank Batala; and Chairman of various Punjab Vidhan Sabha Committees. Currently, he is serving as Cabinet Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, as well as Housing and Urban Development in the Punjab government.
