US Mass Shootings: 12 killed, 50 injured in US during the weekend

As many as 12 people were killed and about 50 were injured in mass shootings across the United States over the weekend after US President Joe Biden, last month, labelled the country's gun violence an "epidemic." The shooting incidents in the United States included deaths in New Jersey, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, and Minnesota. The mass shootings in the US claimed 12 lives and wounded at least 49 others. As per the report, two people were killed when gunfire broke out at a house party in Camden, New Jersey on Saturday. Likewise, a 14-year-old girl was killed in South Carolina where 14 people were injured at a concert. Meanwhile, the police in Atlanta, Georgia, found three gunshot victims after responding to a call about gunshots fired. Three others were found dead and eight injured outside a bar in Youngstown, Ohio, on Sunday morning. On the other side, a 16-year-old girl was killed while seven people injured in a park in Columbus. As many as 12 people were killed and about 50 were injured in mass shootings across the United States over the weekend. The shooting also took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the night before supporters and relatives of George Floyd, the Black man killed by a white former police officer last spring, organised a march on the first anniversary of his death. One was killed and eight were injured while one victim was in critical condition. The Minneapolis police also said that one suspect in the shooting had been arrested, while the second suspect died.
