Farmers Protest: Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated that MSP will continue, the Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said "a law be formed on MSP." Reacting to PM Narendra Modi's statement on MSP, Rakesh Tikait said "When did we say that MSP is ending? We said that a law should be formed on MSP." Right now, there is no law on MSP and the farmers are looted by traders," he said. During his speech in Rajya Sabha, PM Narendra Modi reiterated that 'MSP tha, MSP hai aur MSP rahega (MSP will continue)'. Even as he appealed to farmers to end their agitation and hold discussions with the central government over farm laws. Likewise, a complaint has been filed to arrest the unidentified person who is threatening Tikait to end the protest at the Ghazipur border.
