With 1,100 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,12,460

Punjab Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,12,460 after 1,100 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Tuesday evening.

According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab health department, the death toll in the state has increased to 3,359 after 75 new fatalities were reported from the state on Tuesday.

Among the new deaths, Ludhiana reported 12 fatalities, Amritsar reported 7, Gurdaspur 7, SAS Nagar 5, SBS Nagar 5, Pathankot 5, Ferozepur 4, Hoshiarpur 4, Jalandhar 4, Barnala 3, Kapurthala 3, Muktsar 3, Bathinda 2, Faridkot 2, Patiala 2, Ropar 2, Tarn Taran 2, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Moga 1, and Sangrur 1.

The total number of recoveries has increased to 92,277 after 1,932 new recoveries were reported from the state.

Among the new recoveries, Ludhiana reported 115, Jalandhar 266, Patiala 167, Amritsar 338, Bathinda 103, Gurdaspur 264, Hoshiarpur 80, Ferozepur 4, Sangrur 85, Pathankot 73, Kapurthala 26, Faridkot 68, Muktsar 63, Moga 36, Fazilka 54, Ropar 40, Fatehgarh Sahib 30, Barnala 20, Tarn Taran 36, Mansa 35, and SBS Nagar 29.

The new cases include 180 from Ludhiana, 145 from Jalandhar, 71 from Patiala, 109 from SAS Nagar, 95 from Amritsar, 55 from Bathinda and 62 from Gurdaspur.

Likewise, Hoshiarpur reported 50 new cases, Ferozepur 8, Pathankot 9, Sangrur 20, Fazilka 25, Kapurthala 55, Faridkot 28, Muktsar 43, Fazilka 25, Moga 16, Ropar 28, Fatehgarh Sahib 18, Barnala 12, Tarn Taran 47, SBS Nagar 11 and Mansa 13.
