Indian TV actor reveals sister and husband's tragic death in Israel attack

Mumbai, October 11: Amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Gaza, a heart-wrenching account of the horrors resulting from Hamas' attacks on Israel has come to light.

Madhura Naik, a well-known TV actor recognised for her roles in popular series such as 'Naagin,' 'Uttaran,' and 'Breathe,' has shared a devastating story of her sister and brother-in-law falling victim to the violence perpetrated by Hamas terrorists during the Israel attack. Taking to Instagram, she disclosed the distressing details, leaving netizens deeply shaken. Naik revealed that her relatives were killed in the presence of their own children in Israel. She expressed grave concern that women, children, and the elderly were being deliberately targeted in Israel and brutally murdered in broad daylight.

In her heartfelt Instagram post, she wrote, "Today, Odaya, my sister, and her husband were brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists in front of their children, and their lifeless bodies were discovered (Sunday). We are profoundly saddened by the tragic loss of our beloved relatives in this terror attack. Odaya's warmth, kindness, and love will always be remembered."

Naik also extended her condolences to all the victims of the conflict and fervently prayed for their eternal peace. She implored the global community to stand in solidarity with Israel during these trying times. In her words, "It's time people see the reality of these terrorists and how inhumane they can be."

The actor further shared her ordeal of facing a deluge of hate messages and targeted harassment due to her Jewish heritage. She disclosed, "I was shamed, humiliated, and targeted for being Jewish. I would like to tell everyone that this pro-Palestinian Arab propaganda, which portrays Israelites as cold-blooded killers, is not true."

Madhura Naik unequivocally stated that she does not support violence in any form, emphasizing the need for a nuanced understanding of the complex situation in the region.
