Netanyahu’s party Likud and its far-right allies won a clear majority and will form the next government to end the political impasse that has been plaguing the country. The right-wing bloc led by Netanyahu won 64 seats in Israel's 120-member Knesset.
The general elections took place on November 1, with the country voting for the fifth time in less than four years. Since 2019, when Netanyahu, the country's longest-serving prime minister, was charged with bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, Israel has been locked in an unprecedented period of political stalemate.
