Breaking News: Youth Olympic Games: Saurabh Chaudhary wins third gold for India

Youth Olympic Games: Saurabh Chaudhary wins third gold for India Young Brigade of India continued its dominance in the 3rd Youth Olympic Games by winning its third Gold medal on Wednesday. After young prodigy Manu Bhaker won the country's first ever gold in shooting events of the Youth Olympic Games, her compatriot Saurabh Chadhary earned the distinction of becoming the first male athlete to win a gold for India in shooting events of the Games. ALso Read: Gold Coast 2018: Medals Tally : Australia, England, India, Canada positions remain unchanged Saurabh has such a complete superiority that he beat his nearest rival, Yunho Siung of Korea by nearly seven points. While Saurabh scored 244.2, the Korean aggregated 236.7. Saurabh had earlier shared the top spot with a score of 580 with Erfan Salvati of Iran. Erfan, however, could not maintain his cconcentration and tempo in the final and  finished fifth with a score of 174.7. Saurabh Chaudhary, who brought honours for India in the Asian Games also, dominated the final so much that none of his rivals could even closer to him. Both Saurabh and Manu come from Haryana. With Saurabh's gold, India has taken its medals tally to three gold and three silver medals. -PTC NEWS
