19-year-old Instagram model attacked by shark while posing for photos
19-year-old Katarina Zarutskie, an Instagram model was in the Bahamas last month when she saw the fish swimming in the water. She lay on her back in the water to pose for a snap when suddenly one of the sharks bit her arm and she was pulled under.
Nurse sharks are usually fairly harmless but have been know to bite people if they feel threatened.
"At that point your body has so much adrenaline going and you just have to get out of the situation but I stayed extremely calm," she said.
The teenager had to get stitches and antibiotics and she says there are still tiny fragments of the animal's teeth in her arm.
