4 die, 7 badly injured as auto-rickshaw collides with canter in Ambala
Four people died and seven others were injured after an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided with a canter on the Ambala-Hisar road here on Tuesday. As per reports, around 5.20 am the victims were on their way from Ambala Cantonment to Nasirpur Bakra mandi in Ambala City. Their auto-rickshaw collided with the canter When they reached near Nasirpur village. The victims were rushed to Civil Hospital, Ambala City. The victims were identified as Wasar Ahmad (58), Asraf (46), Mohommad Awaas (47) and Narudeen Kohli (56), who were declared brought dead. Auto-rickshaw driver Sonu (21) and Manjuru (51) were referred to the PGI in Chandigarh while five other injured were undergoing treatment at the Ambala City hospital.The canter driver managed to flee the spot after the accident. -PTC News
