5 people from Gurdaspur killed in road accident in J&K Five people were killed and eight others injured in a road accident on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Ghagwal in Samba district. They all were residents of Gurdaspur in Punjab. The acident took place at around 2 am on Friday night. The passengers were on way from Jammu towards Punjab in an Innova car that hit a parapet at Tapyal under jurisdiction of Ghagwal police station in Samba district. The deceased have been identified as Labpreet Singh, 30; Punnu, 30; Veena; Geeta Devi, 60; and a year-old boy. While Rahul, Atras, Raju, Neetu and her two children, Roop Singh and Monu are among the injured. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital here. -PTC News
