Gurmeet Ram Rahim Accused by Alwar Man for Abducting His Daughter

A man in Rajasthan’s Alwar has held the former Dera Sacha Sauda Chief responsible for the disappearance of his daughter in 2013. Giriraj, a resident of Pipalai village in Pratapgarh police station area of Alwar, had filed a complaint that his daughter had been abducted by two locals – namely Bablu and Surajmal – on October 8, 2013. She was allegedly taken to the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa then. Though the Alwar police had issued a closure report in the case but now after conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the family of the girl has yet again raised the demand to interrogate Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Meanwhile, the crackdown on Dera employees continued in Sirsa as the police on Tuesday arrested CP Arora, who was a director in a couple of MSG group companies, floated by the Dera chief. Arora was the main man behind the finances of Ram Rahim. The Panchkula police have also arrested two persons for providing shelter to Ram Rahim’s “adopted daughter” Honeypreet Insan for 10 days. Honeypreet was arrested from Punjab recently after having been on the run for several weeks. A policeman attached with the Chandigarh Police was plotting to free Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh the day he was convicted in a rape case in August and he, too, has been arrested. It has been disclosed that Head Constable Lal Singh, posted in the UT Police's intelligence wing, was in Panchkula on August 25 to help the self-styled godman escape from the court premises. -PTC News
