He was a master at stealing auto-rickshaws and never getting caught by police. In fact, the 'superchor' had even undergone plastic surgery to avoid arrest. The Delhi Police nabbed Kunal, along with his two accomplices, on October 13 from Nehru Place in South Delhi. Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said Kunal, a resident of Delhi, was involved in 62 cases of vehicle thefts in Delhi and areas nearby. According to the DCP, the thief underwent plastic surgery some four years back to conceal his real identity from cops who were looking for him. https://twitter.com/DCPSEastDelhi/status/922029001547251712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.newsx.com%2Fnational%2Fcar-superchor-involved-in-500-cases-arrested-from-south-delhi-12-cars-recovered During interrogation, Kunal revealed that Irshad Ali and Mohammad Shadab used to buy cars stolen by him. Both Ali and Shadab, from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested. 12 cars were seized by the police following the arrests. Their interrogation revealed that before stealing a car, the accused first found vehicles declared as "total loss" by insurance companies but whose documents had not been destroyed. Baaniya said that once the accused got hold of the documents, they would find similar cars and then steal them. They would then change the chassis and engine number of the vehicles and sell them in the market. -PTC News
