Retro Film Festival: SRK’s 'Baazigar' all set to re-release in cinemas

'Baazigar' set to re-release | 'Baazigar' – a popular Bollywood film starring film actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles is all set for re-release in cinemas.

Shah Rukh Khan shared the exciting news with his fans through Instagram post and wrote, "Flashback to a time when magic unfolded on the silver screen! Inviting you to relive those moments at our Retro Film Festival with the iconic Bollywood classic - 'Baazigar.' As someone who had the privilege to bring this magic to life, I'm thrilled to join you in this nostalgic journey. Let's celebrate the timeless era of Bollywood together!"


Kajol and Shilpa Shetty also posted the announcement.

Shilpa mentioned, "So proud to be a part of both these 'Iconic Retro' films, with Baazigar being my debut..Save the dates: 22/03/24 | 23/03/24 | 25/03/24 | 26/03/24..Join us for an unforgettable cinematic experience. Be there to witness the magic unfold!..."

Released on November 12, 1993, Baazigar featured Shah Rukh as an anti-hero. The story revolves around a young man, played by Shah Rukh Khan, who seeks revenge for his father's death and orchestrates a complex plan to achieve it. The film is known for its suspenseful plot, memorable dialogues, and iconic music. It was a commercial success and helped cement Shah Rukh Khan's reputation as a versatile actor in the Indian film industry.

SRK's famous dialogue, “Kabhi Kabhi Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta hai ... aur haar kar jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hai,"remains deeply ingrained in the hearts of his fans. 

Recently, SRK has enjoyed a string of three consecutive hits with "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki."
