The President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar visited the Delhi-based house of Air Marshal Arjan Singh and expressed grief over the passing away of the warrior. “The SGPC had already decided to install the photos of war heroes Lt General Harbaksh Singh (1965 war) and Lt General Jagjit Singh Arora (1971 war). Today, we decided to allocate a special space to a photo of Marshal Arjan Singh to motivate the future generation to join the armed forces,” he told the media. Marshal Arjan Singh's picture will be put in the Sikh museum: Prof. Badungar Badungar said Marshal Arjan Singh was the longest serving warrior and his outstanding leadership in the 1965 India-Pak war would always be remembered. “The nation has lost a highly decorated soldier.” Prof. Badungar compared Marshal Arjan Singh with the world's great general, and said his picture will be put in the central Sikh museum.
