Patiala: Slogans raised against Captain Amarinder, Maharani Parneet kaur by residents
Residents of New Mahendra colony Patiala, Punjab raised slogans against Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Maharani Parneet Kaur on Friday morning.
Slogans were raised against Punjab CM as the basic facilities and demands of the residents like- proper sewerage, properly constructed roads and others have remained unfulfilled and the Municipal Corporation of the area is paying no attention to the residents of the area.
People also raised slogans against Patiala Mayor Sanjeev Bittu and Counsellor Sandeep Malhotra.
The residents of the area also said that the municipal corporation is also continuously ignoring them and keeping them deprived of the basic facilities.
During the incident, 3 protesters were arrested by the police and were taken to police station Sabji Mandi Patiala.
When asked about complete incident, Inspector Surendra Bhalla did not give a satisfactory reply and had also asked the PTC cameraman to leave, without giving any comment on the issue.
