Rainfall likely to increase in Punjab from 21 July, confirms IMD As per the India Meteorological Department, rainfall is likely to increase in Punjab from 21 July. Moderate rainfall is likely to hit many places during subsequent 72 hours. Heavy to very heavy rainfall also likely in North West parts of Punjab namely Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Tarn-Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and adjoining areas and during the period. -PTC News
