Manjinder Sirsa takes up implementation of Anand Marriage Act with Rajasthan Govt

Sirsa takes up implementation of Anand Marriage Act with Rajasthan Govt : The Delhi MLA and Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DGSMC) Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa led delegation met Rajasthan Law Minister Mr. Pushpendra Singh and took up issue of implementation of Anand Marriage Act with the Rajasthan government. Delegation led by Mr. Sirsa included  Mr. Surinder Singh PT Minister for Mines Rajasthan, MLA Gurjant Singh Brar and Manjit Singh Aulakh. Mr. Sirsa who is pursuing implementation of the Anand Marriage Act throughout India as per the direction of  Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal President the Shiromani Akali Dal, was in contact with the Rajasthan Chief Minister over the issue as was told to brief about the issue to the Law Minister Mr. Pushpendra Singh by the Chief Minister. Mr. Sirsa led a delegation to the Law Minister which briefed the minister about the provisions of the Act and requirement on behalf of Rajasthan government to implement the act. Mr. Sirsa told the Rajasthan Minister that majority of states have already implemented the act and he is pursuing with the rest of the states for its implementation. Meanwhile Singh Sabha of Jaipur including  Satwant Singh Vice President Gurudwara Raja Park, Davinder Singh President Youth Wing, Baldev Singh former Chairman and  Devinder Singh Shunty Councillor honored Mr. Sirsa for getting this act implemented in various states and also assured him that now they will pursue its implementation in Rajasthan after he has taken up the issue with the government personally. Members of Singh Sabha also lauded the proposal of  Mr. Sirsa to celebrate Children's Day in name of four sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh ji and assured him all support on the issue and told him that they will mobilize maximum support in favour of this proposal. -PTC News
