Punjab reports 132 new cases of coronavirus in last 24 hours; state count 1,232

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1232 after 132 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday evening. The death toll in the state stands at 23. Tarn Taran reported 26 new cases while Barnala reported 15 new cases of coronavirus. ptcnews.tv/indian-railways-shramik-special-trains-standard-fare-coronaviurs-lockdown-en/ Gurdaspur reported 6 COVId-19 cases while Ferozepur reported 13 new cases. Jalandhar reported 4 cases of coronavirus. Meanwhile, Bathinda reported only 1 new case. Faridkot recorded 12 new cases while Sangrur reported 52 new cases, the highest in a single day. Mansa reported only 1 new case while Pathankot recorded 2. Amritsar is on the top of the tally with 218 cases followed by Jalandhar at 128, Ludhiana at 110, Mohali at 95, Hoshiarpur at 88 and Patiala at 86. SBS Nagar stands at 85, while 63 cases have been reported from Sangrur, 49 from Muktsar and 42 from Ferozepur. Tarn Taran has reported 40 cases so far while 36 have been reported from Gurdaspur and 36 from Bathinda. Moga stands at 28 while Pathankot at 27, while Barnala has 19 cases and Faridkot has 18.
