Punjab Municipal Election 2021 result: Former minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Wednesday said the people of Punjab had given a clear signal in the MC elections that the 2022 Punjab assembly elections would be a straight contest between the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Congress party. “Past history shows that the party which is the runner up in the municipal elections emerges victorious in the assembly elections”, he said on 2022 Punjab Assembly Elections.
