In yet another shocking case, a 22-year-old married girl from Chandigarh was gang-raped by 40 men for four consecutive days at a farm house in the Morni Hills, officials said.
The incident took place in Kaimbwala village in Morni Hills, as per the information.
One of the main accused, Sunny was the caretaker of the farmhouse where the victim was raped repeatedly.
As per the information, Sunny knew the victim’s husband through a common friend. On the pretext of finding the victim a job, Sunny took her to the farm house where 40 men took turns to rape the 22 year old.
The victim along with her husband had gone to meet Sunny near a bridge in Ramgarh as he promised to find a job for the 22 year old. He then took the victim to a farm house in a white Alto car where the incident took place.
Over the next three days, she was allegedly hidden in the farmhouse and gang raped by 40 men.
She managed to escape the farmhouse after days and immediately called her husband and narrated her ordeal. The Mani Majra police registered the case under Section 164 of the IPC. The statement was also recorded her statement on Thursday. Two of the main accused have been arrested by the police.
The husband, who works as a tailor in Chandigarh had met Sunny through a friend.
