6 most notorious snatchers arrested by the Crime Branch Chandigarh In a major breakthrough the Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Inspector Amanjot Singh is able to arrest the most notorious persons involved in recent snatching and auto lifting from Chandigarh. The accused have been identified as Manoj Kumar, Rinku, Yad Ram, Kaku Ram, Sanjay Verma and Mohammad Shadan. On 13 May a secret information was received that the accused persons were involved in several cases of snatching and vehicle lifting presently roaming in the area of Police Station Maloya, Chandigarh. On the basis of secret information the naka was laid and two of them were apprehended while they were looking for their another prey. All were arrested and on further interrogation and investigation total 12 cases were worked out. Out of which 8 are snatching and 4 are of vehicle theft.
