Days after 17-year-old Karan Thakur of Panchkula hanged himself to death in Haryana after playing the Blue Whale Challenge; the Haryana Police has become active.
Warnings are issued against the Blue Whale Challenge so that parents are actively in charge of the whereabouts of their children, said Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla.
Chawla said that, so far the investigation has revealed that 7 children in Chandigarh and 4 children in Panchkula are playing different stages of the Blue Whale Game. The families have been informed of the “could-be-victims” of suicide. The phones and tabs of children have been taken into custody. Investigation is in process.
