Adampur airport to get new civil terminal
Adampur airport is all set to get a new civil terminal. Rs 125 crore will be spent on the project. The preliminary activities have already begun.

According to PTC News, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla, and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha will lay the foundation stone of the project on March 7 at 11 am.

The airport was established by the Union government under the Regional Connectivity Scheme. The airport authorities have decided to develop according to the international standard which will have all modern facilities. At present, the airport is set up on the areas of 325 square meters. It is very congested and can only accommodate around 90 people.

Though the airport has a temporary visitor, a VIP lounge and high powered X-ray machine, but because of congested place, the airport doesn’t provide all the required facilities to the passengers.
