With the Assembly elections in Uttarakhand due next year, Harish Rawat, who is the Congress's campaign committee chairman there, has sought to be relieved as the in-charge of the Congress affairs in Punjab. "If my party asks me to continue as the Punjab affairs in-charge, I will continue,” said Harish Rawat. Punjab and Uttarakhand would go to polls next year.
