Indian shuttler P V Sindhu, who recently cemented her status as international Badminton champion by defeating Nozomi Okuhara 21-7, 21-7 in the final of BWF World Championship 2019, has an absurd marriage proposal.

A 70-year-old man, Malaisamy, from Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu, has submitted a petition with the district collector seeking to marry the ace shuttler. He said he would abduct Sindhu and marry her if arrangements were not made. As per reports, the petition was filed during weekly meetings organized by the district collector, where people are invited to file their petitions.
