Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal on Saturday invited Odisha’s Chief Minister to Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s 550th Prakash Purab in Punjab.

SGPC President today (January 19) met Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik and invited him on behalf of the Sikh Community. He requested him to take part in the celebrations.

Earlier in the day, SGPC today held Nagar kirtan from Jagannath Puri to Cuttack in Odisha. It was a part of the 550th Gurpurab celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji as he had visited Jagannath Puri during one of his 'udasis'.
